No. a businessmatch.com provides only an introduction service (just like on-line dating services) but designed for business people to seek out other business people and find business opportunities.

2. Can a businessmatch.com assist me directly with buying or selling a business?

No. We are only an introduction service. We are not affiliated with any brokers, professional advisors, lawyers, accountants or other sales and service people of any kind. You are strongly advised to seek professional assistance before completing any transaction with any member.

3. Is a businessmatch.com an Agent or Broker?

No. However business brokers, representing others may independently decide to list their opportunities on this website.

4. How much does this service cost?

abusinessmatch .com is free to join, free to browse, and free to create a favorites list. Members are notified if their listing has been added to another member’s favorites list.

The service is completely free. Free to join. Free to use. Free to browse. There are no hidden charges.

5. How do I know that member advertisements are all reasonably current and available?

Member profiles are automatically deleted from our database if there has been no activity for 180 days. That means that members can determine whether or not other members are reasonably active and decide whether or not to contact a member in whom they have an interest. Business sellers know that all the interested buyers that they wish to e-mail are active within the last 180 days. Potential business buyers know that the businesses that they are interested in buying had active listings within the last 180 days.


6. What is a favorites list?

Members can create a favorites list of other member profile opportunities that they want to remember or identify for later follow up. Members added to your favorites list by you will be separately notified that they have been so added.


7. If I receive notification that another member has added me to their favorites list, can I send them a message?

Yes


8. Can I include an email address, telephone number or any other identifying information in my profile?

Yes. You may however wish to remain anonymous and use the confidential mailbox rather than communicate directly using your home email until you are more sure of whom you are communicating with.

9. What happens to my messages and favorites if my membership expires?

Memberships and listings are automatically deleted if you have not logged in for six months.

10. I have placed an advertisement on-line but cannot find it in your database.

Please allow up to two working days for your advertisement to appear. This slight delay allows the advertisements to be manually checked, for possibly offensive material before appearing live.

11. How do I renew my membership?

You will be notified 10 days prior to the expiration of your membership that you can renew your membership free if you so choose.

12. I have placed an advertisement - does my advertisement renew automatically?

No. There is no automatic renewal. Your advertisement will stay on-line as long as you keep logging in to your account. There is no need to renew. You can log in any time to edit your advertisement. If you have not logged in for 180 days, your advertisement will be permanently deleted.
